Areas of interest
We invite proposals for sessions featuring your current or proposed projects, or academic papers, about 45 minutes in length. The areas we are interested in for this conference include the following:

adult, community and further education

community development and organisation

community-focussed electronic commerce

content regulation and management of community networks
-
gender and electronic networking
-
government, community and business partnerships innovations
that assist in electronic community networking and information sharing
(eg community databases)

health networking
-
innovations for information provision and empowerment
to different communities, minority communities, young people, older people,
disability groups, indigenous networking
-
political economy, policy, planning, research, and evaluation
of community networking
-
role of public libraries and local government in electronic
networking
- training for electronic access
Your
Proposal
Proposals of not more than 250 words should reach the Conference committee by 1 April 1999, and acceptances will be sent out by 29 April 1999. The language for the conference will be English. The Organising Committee wants to encourage proposals which encourage involvement and Feedback & Discussion Lists from session attendees. If you prefer to share your information through a poster display please let us know through this call for papers.
